What’s Happening This Week!

Last week was the Big Sandy Family Conference photography team in Texas! With 19 photographers, it kept me so busy I didn’t have time to blog about it!

Hoping this week will be a little different….

As I write, I’m swinging back and forth in a new hammock I’m trying to get used to sleeping in. On my way back to WV from TX I’ve planned ahead to stop at some different places for landscape pictures.

Tonight was Lake Bistineau State Park in Louisiana. No “official” pictures from my DSLR yet, but here’s a few from my cell phone:

If anyone knows why the water is covered in green plants, I’d love to know! It sure does make for awesome photos.

Looking forward to posing more as the week progresses here on my blog as well as on Facebook!

Get each article as soon as it goes live!

I live 15 minutes away from there! The water is covered with salvinia, which came from South America! Have fun in Louisiana!

Hey, thanks Jinny! Salvania, eh? It makes for some very interesting pictures, though I assume it gets pretty boring and annoying after awhile. It seemed so widespread from where I saw it, I wonder what keeps it from taking over the entire world! 🙂
