What Happened in Nashville this Week!

Just finished shooting the Nashville Family Conference today!

All 4 days of the Conference were a blast. With a small, core photography team of 4, there was a lot more time for one-on-one coaching and opportunities to shoot pictures myself. Here are some of my favorite shots from the team, and why I like them.

This has got to be one of my favorite shots of the week. Tells a great story, winner smile, sweaty hair, and captures the essence of the ALERT program.

And this shot captures the CI program really well. A bunch of high energy kids, led by ultra-loving leaders, captured by a memory-loving mother.

What a way to capture the moment! Just a random moment during the Conference, capturing perfectly the joy that comes when an older young person takes the time to love and invest some time in younger people.

Number one, I like this shot because it has my brother Jonathan who was helping out with Children’s Institute in it. 🙂 Second, I think it stands out to me because of the angle. I was down on the floor playing with the kids (the best way to get great shots of kids anyway) and was basically shooting from ground level which always makes for great shots.

And here are a few other great shots from the week. More on the Family Conference Facebook and Google Plus!

These are great pictures. I love how the team really captured the essence of the conference with everything from the kitchen to speakers to Alert. Thanks for sharing!

Ah, it certainly a team effort, as well as the result of learning from past experience and just doing it over and over and over again. 🙂
