Sandpiper Pics

Had some fun shooting on the Pacific Coast yesterday! The late afternoon sun was perfect for shooting the daring little critters that inhabit the rocky beaches. This poor sandpiper, waiting so patiently for the waves to bring in some food for dinner, evidently didn’t quite calculate the intensity of the next wave that came in. They were fun birds to watch. 🙂

      Yes, the beach! It’s amazing how I had forgotten how enjoyable it was to walk along the shore in my bare feet and listen to the shore birds chattering and waves crashing on the shore. It was definitely an enjoyable place to be for my birthday.
